About Us

I want to take a minute to tell you a little bit about the story behind Magnolia Lane Boutique...

I'm a born & raised Oklahoma girl.

-In 2012,
I decided to stop teaching Kindergarten to stay home with my oldest daughter when she was born. A few months after deciding to stay home, I started to feel like I had lost myself.  I was swimming in a sea of diapers and my label as "mom" really threw me for a loop. I wanted to do something that made me feel like myself again, and I wasn't ready to sit back and watch my dream drift away.  I could feel God pressing in my heart to DO SOMETHING with the love I had to create.

-In January of 2013,
People had asked me to make things for them for years! Every time I crafted something, someone wanted a duplicate.. I thought of a name that was strong and southern, and started a little Facebook page to sell my baseball heart hats and crafts to friends and family. It took off like crazy and shortly after I started branching out and selling apparel, jewelry, home decor, and tons of other goodies. (My number 1 goal at that time was to be able to buy Easter outfits for our family with MLB money. It's humbling to look back at that day and see how far God has taken us because of one little "yes.")

-In June 2013:
I opened a booth inside a store in my hometown. One very short month after we filled that space I realized things were flying off the shelves and I needed to expand. We DOUBLED our in-store space to try to keep up with sales.

-In September 2013:
I launched my website: www.MagnoliaLaneBoutique.com
Our first sale came minutes after we went live. I'll never forget that first sale.

-In December 2013:
I opened my first brick-and-mortar store in Mustang, Oklahoma. I've grown to love this little community and wanted to grow business roots here and offer something unlike any other place in town. I saw a need for people to be able to buy apparel, gifts (even gift wrapping!), and decor without driving out of town or overpaying. I wanted to create an atmosphere that was different than anything around us. In those 4 aqua walls, I've laughed until my stomach hurt, and cried right along with my Magnolias. They're not customers to me. They're my family. I've styled for weddings.. I've helped the local PTAs and supported our Mini Magnolias in their school activities. I've dressed growing baby bumps, and then held those precious little babies as "my Magnolias" spent a little time doing something for them.

-In October 2015:
We moved to our second brick-and-mortar store in OKC, (Yukon) Oklahoma. I wanted to be in a newer space that would reflect the feel of what MLB is to me. We prayed long and hard that God would bring us to a space that my business would be blessed in, but also a space where we could grow and develop into something bigger. I wanted our arms to be stretched further so we could serve new people along with our loyal locals. I'm excited to say that we've had people drive to shop from Tulsa, Edmond, Midwest City, Norman, Perry, Weatherford, Stillwater, Chickasha, and everywhere in between. (We’ve even had Magnolias visit us all the way from Canada, LA, and New York City.:) We still sell online and ship things out daily. I've shipped to just about all the 50 states, Canada, and even to military wives in Germany.

The MLB Team:

It has always been extremely important to me that I build our team by adding driven, smart, caring, capable, empowered women that want the MLB brand to succeed and thrive. This business is truly my dream come true, and I have searched far and wide to assemble a fantastic team to share my dream… Feedback has been wonderful!! People are happy to see a place that has everything they could hope to find in a boutique, but with budget-friendly prices and a good vibe. My ultimate goal is for you feel the difference in our store when you walk in the door and see a smiling face greeting you. We are ready to style YOU, and make you feel better than you have ever felt. Magnoliai Lane is so much more than clothes to our team. I live an breathe this journey we're on.

We have been blessed beyond my wildest dreams through your fierce loyalty and support.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
